Perkins Engineering designs and fabricates work cell and work station stands and tables used for assembly and other processes to make assembly process easier and decrease cycle time during the manufacture of factory components. By shearing, cutting and forming sheet metal, tube and bar stock, our machining service specialists create custom assemblies to comply with your assembly and manufacturing requirements.
Metal fabrication materials include steel, stainless steel, plastics, aluminum and other special alloys and materials as specified by the customer. (See our machining materials list.)
Fastening processes for work cell/station assemblies include wire welding, riveting, bolting and spotwelding, with TIG/MIG welding used on aluminum and stainless. Custom tooling can be merged into the cell if required by the customer. Special bins for assembly parts are produced to your specifications.
